Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This policy explains how Unifire Nozzles AB uses cookies and similar technologies on unifirenozzles.com, what each one does, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy statement, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Websites also use related technologies — local storage and session storage — that work in a similar way. Where this policy says “cookies”, it means all of these.
A short summary
This is a product information website. It has no shop, no user accounts and no advertising. Most of the cookies listed further down are never set for visitors at all — they only appear for our own staff when they are signed in to edit the site.
As an ordinary visitor, what actually gets stored on your device is: a small record of the cookie choice you made, a check that your browser accepts cookies, and — only if you agree to it — two Google Analytics cookies that let us count visits.
Your choices
When you first visit unifirenozzles.com you are asked to make a choice. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically, because the site cannot function without them. Nothing else is set unless you consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and it does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser’s own settings. Every major browser has a privacy section that lets you do this. Blocking everything, including strictly necessary cookies, may stop parts of the site working properly.
The categories we use
| Category | What it covers | Set without consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Functional | Strictly necessary for the site to work — remembering your cookie choice, and keeping our own staff signed in while they edit the site. | Yes — the site cannot run without these |
| Preferences | Remembering choices you make so the site behaves the way you prefer. | No — only with your consent |
| Statistics | Counting visitors and understanding which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. | No — only with your consent |
| Marketing | Building a profile of your interests in order to show you advertising. | No — only with your consent |
We use no cookies in the Marketing category. We run no advertising pixels, and we embed no tracking widgets from social media platforms.
Cookies we use
Durations are set by whoever provides the cookie and can change. Names ending in * vary between visitors or between installations.
Functional — set automatically
Set for anyone visiting the site
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
cmplz_*banner-status, consented_services, consenttype, functional, preferences, statistics, marketing, policy_id |
Records the choices you made in our cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page and so we can demonstrate what you consented to. Also records which version of this policy you were shown at the time. | 365 days |
wordpress_test_cookie |
A one-off check of whether your browser accepts cookies at all. | Session |
wpEmojiSettingsSupports |
A one-off technical check of whether your browser can display emoji characters correctly. | Session |
wp_lang |
Remembers the language the site should be displayed in. | Session |
Set only for our own staff, when signed in to edit the site
These never appear for ordinary visitors. We list them because our cookie scan detects them and we would rather be complete than tidy.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
wordpress_logged_in_* |
Keeps a signed-in editor logged in as they move between pages. | Session, or 14 days if “remember me” is used |
wp-settings-*wp-settings-time-* |
Remembers screen and layout preferences inside the editing area. | 1 year |
WP_DATA_USER_* |
Stores display settings for a data view in the editing area. | Persistent |
customizerVisitCount |
Counts how often an editor has opened the site customiser, so WordPress can stop showing introductory hints. | Persistent |
uagSettingStateuagSvgConfirmationspectraCopyPasteStyles |
Set by Spectra, the page-building tool we use. They remember which editing panels were open, that an editor confirmed an SVG upload, and any block styling copied for pasting elsewhere. | Persistent |
surerank_editor_tour_seen |
Set by SureRank, our search-engine optimisation tool. Records that an editor has already been shown its introductory tour. | Persistent |
gt-current-screen-unifirenozzles.com |
Remembers which screen size an editor was previewing the site at. | Persistent |
Statistics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they find useful. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not use it for advertising. These cookies are set only if you consent to statistics cookies.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Assigns a randomly generated ID to your browser so we can count visitors and see which pages are used, without identifying you personally. | Up to 2 years, though browsers currently cap cookie lifetimes at about 13 months |
_ga_5RMKJTH5N1 |
Keeps track of your current visit, so a series of page views is counted as one session rather than many. | Up to 2 years, though browsers currently cap cookie lifetimes at about 13 months |
Who else receives data through these cookies
Google receives the information collected by Google Analytics, and only where you have consented to statistics cookies. Google acts as our processor under a written data processing agreement. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by the safeguards described in our privacy statement.
We do not sell data collected through cookies, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
